1. Overview
This page is the practical index of every privacy control Artfical offers, cross-referenced against where each one actually lives in the product and which legal document governs it in full.
It exists because a privacy policy is written to be legally complete, not necessarily easy to act on in the moment you actually want to change a setting. This page is meant to be the second one, the one you actually use.
2. Access and export
You can see what Artfical holds about your account directly in the product, under Settings → Data. That view reflects the same underlying data we have, not a simplified or delayed summary of it.
A structured export of your conversation history and account data is available on request through the contact address at the bottom of this page. We aim to provide it within 30 days of a verified request, and sooner where technically straightforward.
3. Deletion
You can delete an individual chat, disconnect a connector, or delete your account entirely from Settings. Each of these actually removes the underlying data on our systems, not just your own view of it.
A short, bounded operational retention window applies for backup rotation and abuse prevention, described in full in the privacy policy. It is not open-ended, and it does not function as a way to retain data indefinitely under a different label.
4. Training opt-out
Whether your usage data is eligible to inform future model training is a setting under Settings → Privacy, off by default for new accounts opened after this policy's effective date.
Opting out applies going forward from when you set it. It does not retroactively remove data already incorporated into a training run that completed before you changed the setting.
5. Connector access
Gmail, Notion, GitHub, and Linear are each a separate, explicit connection. You can review and revoke any of them individually from Settings → Connectors at any time, without affecting the others.
Revoking a connector removes its access immediately, including any cached credential. See each connector's own documentation at docs.artfical.com for exactly what it can and can't do before you connect it.
6. Communications
Product and security notices are sent to the email address on your account and can't be turned off, since they may include information material to your account's safety or billing status.
Optional product updates and announcements can be unsubscribed from directly from any such email, or from Settings → Notifications, without affecting delivery of the notices described above.
7. Cookie and tracking choices
Cookie and similar-technology choices for tai.artfical.com, ai.artfical.com, and docs.artfical.com are managed separately from the account-level settings above, since they can apply before you've created an account at all.
A preference banner appears on your first visit to any Artfical site, and can be reopened at any time from the "Manage cookies" link in the site footer, or from Settings → Privacy inside tAI. The full detail on what we use and why is in the cookie policy.
8. Regional rights
If data protection law in your region grants you rights beyond what's described above, including Turkey's KVKK (Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu), the EU and UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws such as the CCPA, those rights apply in full and are not narrowed by anything on this page.
Where a regional right requires a specific request process or a specific response timeline, that detail is set out in the privacy policy's regional rights section, which this page summarizes but does not replace.
9. How to exercise a choice
- In-product settings (access, deletion, training opt-out, connector access, notifications, cookie preferences): use the links above, no request needed.
- A right requiring identity verification (a full data export, a formal deletion confirmation, a regional-law-specific request): contact us using the address below.
- A response to a verified request is provided within the timeframe required by applicable law, or 30 days where no shorter statutory timeframe applies.
